Due to the ongoing military conflicts in the Middle East and the resulting extension of flight restrictions in the region by EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency), we inform you that all Neos flights departing from Italy to Oman until March 31st inclusive will be canceled.
Customers with direct Neos bookings will receive an email at the address provided during booking with instructions for requesting a refund for the canceled flight. If there is an additional flight in the same booking that you wish to cancel following the cancellation of your flight, you will need to request a refund for the active leg of the trip by opening a ticket through the Customer Service page before your flight's departure.
Customers with bookings through tour operators should contact their tour operator's customer service.
We are constantly monitoring the situation to schedule flights to Italy in the coming days for customers waiting to return home. Updates with flight details will be published as soon as they are confirmed and authorized.
Dear customers, as part of a comprehensive review of its long-haul schedule, Neos announces the suspension of the direct Bari-New York flight for summer 2026.
The decision is linked to the evolving international geopolitical context and the Atlantic market, as well as excess capacity on the United States-Bari route, which has impacted demand, showing a progressive decline in recent months.
The summer 2026 schedule currently includes two flights from Milan and two from Palermo to New York's JFK Airport.
Customers with direct Neos bookings will receive an email at the address provided during booking with instructions for requesting a refund for the canceled flight or the option to rebook on an alternative flight.
Travel agencies can find all the information here.
At FCO Airport, the People Mover connecting Terminal 3 to the West Satellite is temporarily suspended. A shuttle bus service is currently available. Passengers departing on flights boarding from gates E31–E44 are advised to proceed to the boarding area as early as possible.
Direct flights operating from June 27 to October 17
Starting from March 18, 2026, a fuel surcharge will be applied to all new bookings for Neos flights departing from Milan Malpensa Airport.
This measure is necessary due to the significantly higher fuel costs at Milan Malpensa compared to other Italian and European airports, with price differentials exceeding 50%.
These elevated costs have a substantial impact on the economic sustainability of Neos flights departing from MXP and make it necessary to introduce a surcharge across all sales channels to offset the additional operating expenses incurred at the airport.
The surcharge will change according to flight duration and destination.
